India, Jan. 7 -- Bank of Bhagyalakshmi was Kannada actor Dheekshith Shetty's first release back home since 2024's experimental sci-fi film Blink and came shortly after he received a lot of praise for his role as Vikram in Rashmika Mandanna's Telugu movie, The Girlfriend. A comedy heist drama, Bank of Bhagyalakshmi was directed by debutant Abhishek Manjunath and released in theatres on November 27, following a delay caused by the late arrival of the film's censor certificate.

The film opened to average reviews, which leaned in favour of its positive aspects, but as has been the case with most 2025 releases, drawing crowds remained a challenge. ...
