India, Dec. 10 -- Akhanda 2's release was stalled at the last minute due to a case filed in the Madras High Court against the makers, as they owed money worth crores to multiple parties. The action drama had no option but to get postponed.

Yesterday, the court lifted the stay, and the makers revealed that Akhanda 2 will hit the screens on December 12, 2025.This made fans happy but disappointed a few young directors and actors who had planned to release their respective films on December 12.
