India, Dec. 10 -- Arasan, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Silambarasan in the lead role, and directed by filmmaker Vetrimaaran, has gone on floors following its announcement. The film is touted to be an action drama and set in the same universe of Vetrimaaran's previous film Vada Chennai.

Arasan is an upcoming project which will mark the first time actor Silambarasan will be collaborating with director Vetrimaaran.
