India, Feb. 22 -- Netflix India has substantially strengthened Kapil Sharma's multi-year creative partnership. After The Great Indian Kapil Show got the official go-ahead for a fifth season, Variety India reports that the actor-comedian will now be the lead in an original scripted web series for the streaming service, which will be his first foray into long-form narrative.
