India, June 6 -- With almost half of 2025 over, and Tamil cinema facing a major setback with only sporadic successes and largely disappointing shows, the latest to join is Thug Life. Even as scores of fans across India were waiting for the Nayakan reunion, the Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam film ended up as an underwhelming watch. Apart from Thug Life, films like Retro, Good Bad Ugly, and Vidaamuyarchi also did not make it to the successful category, even as some films like Tourist Family and Dragon made positive waves among the audience.
