India, Oct. 18 -- October 2025 was the Kantara Chapter 1 month as far as Sandalwood was concerned. In the first 2 weeks after the Rishab Shetty-led Kantara prequel come out, there were only 2 other Kannada films that made it to theatres, with another 3 expected in the last two weeks. With December booked by the big stars, Darshan, Sudeep, Shivarajkumar and Upendra, and Dhruva Sarja's KD The Devil rumoured to be out of the 2025 race, a bunch of smaller Kannada films are making a beeline for all the available dates in November.
