India, May 31 -- The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Abhyanthara Kuttavali, have dropped an update on its theatrical release date. The family drama, which stars Asif Ali in the lead role, will hit the big screen on June 6.

Originally, the movie was supposed to open in theatres in April. However, for unclear reasons, it was postponed. Sarkeet, another film directed by Asif Ali, was released on May 8 and received a favourable reception from viewers.
