India, Nov. 4 -- When Mollywood's top films of 2024 were recognised at the 55th Kerala State Film Awards, Malayalis had plenty of reasonsto celebrate. Thirty of the approximately 128 films that were initially submitted to the panel, which was headed by well-known Tamil actor Prakash Raj, were shortlisted. The majority of the winners, particularly Mammootty, who won his seventh Best Actor award for his role in Bramayugam, were previously anticipated and speculated by many. In the meanwhile, not everyone is pleased with how the awards were distributed.
