Mumbai, Aug. 15 -- Raksha Bandhan might be the celebration of the purest bond of brothers and sisters but all Indian men and women has had at least one hilariously awkward rakhi encounter. In our country, Rakhi is often treated as an antidote to dating ambitions where either girls quell the excitement of the guys crushing on them by tying them a rakhi or do it to make sure that curious 'mohallewale' don't eye them with suspicion. Also, rakhi brothers and sisters, especially in colleges often generate dating rumors which make things supremely uncomfortable.
