Mumbai, Feb. 18 -- Child actress Suhani Bhatnagar's tragic demise at the age of 19 has plunged the entire entertainment industry into a state of gloom and shock. She was known for playing the younger version of Babita Phogat in the blockbuster 2016 film Dangal. Her father Sumit Bhatnagar has now revealed the reason behind his daughter's unfortunate passing.

According to a news report in PTI, he revealed that Suhani was suffering from dermatomyositis which is a rare inflammatory disease that causes skin rash and muscle weakness. She was admitted to the AIIMS Hospital in Delhi on February 7 and died on February 16 owing to health complications.
