Dhaka, Sept. 7 -- The Power Division has instructed officials and employees of the Palli Bidyut Samiti (PBS) to withdraw their ongoing work stoppage and return to duty immediately. It has been clearly stated that failure to resume work within 24 hours will result in legal action under the relevant laws.
The directive emphasizes that uninterrupted electricity supply is an essential service. Any disruption or obstruction to this service is a punishable offense under the Essential Services Act. The government remains sensitive to the concerns and demands of PBS employees and is actively working to address them.
