Bangladesh, Feb. 23 -- The government has requested the countrymen to set the temperature of their air conditioners at a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius in offices and households during the upcoming Ramadan and the summer season.

A circular signed by the additional secretary of the Cabinet Division, Zaheda Parveen, was issued in this regard on Sunday.

According to the circular, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has advised all to set the minimum AC temperature at 25 degrees Celsius in government and private offices as well as households to ensure the efficient use of electricity.
