Kathmandu, Dec. 13 -- Zonta Club Kathmandu organised a series of cybersecurity awareness programmes in Kathmandu, Kalikot and Lumbini as part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence under the UNITE campaign.

The programmes were conducted in collaboration with the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police, women lawyers and Chandragiri Municipality. More than 600 people including children participated.

Sessions covered common forms of cybercrime in Nepal, safety practices, available support mechanisms and existing legal provisions related to digital abuse.
