Biratnagar, March 4 -- A married man and a woman were found hanging from the same tree in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-5, Morang, on Tuesday morning, according to local police.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bikram Dahal of the Area Police Office, Pathari, confirmed that the bodies were found on a branch of a yellow snake tree near the Bakraha River, approximately one kilometre south of the man's residence.

The deceased have been identified as 24-year-old Ajay Tudu of Shanishchare-5, Pathari and 22-year-old Jubamuni Hasda of Katahari Rural Municipality-6, Morang. Both were married to other partners.
