Kathmandu, Jan. 16 -- National Women's Football League is set to begin on January 20 in the Capital under the double leg format, according to the football governing body All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

This is the first time the women's tournament is set to have two legs - each team will compete against another twice in the event. The tournament will feature seven teams including Tribhuvan Army Football Club, Nepal APF Club, Nepal Police Club, Chaudandigadhi Municipality, Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Waling Municipality and Chandrapur Municipality. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Dasharath Stadium and other matches at ANFA Complex.
