Kathmandu, April 6 -- After three more cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kailali and Kanchanpur on Saturday, the security arrangements in Kathmandu Valley have been made stricter, according to security agencies.

The total number of positive coronavirus cases has reached nine in Nepal.

According to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Office, Rani Pokhari, it took action against 2,292 people from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur for defying the lockdown rule on Sunday, the 13th day of the nationwide lockdown.

Police booked 1,881 people in Kathmandu, 178 in Bhaktapur and 233 in Lalitpur.
