Kathmandu, Jan. 29 -- Machhindra FC are now at the top of the National League points table after their fourth consecutive win on Wednesday. The two-time Martyr's Memorial 'A' Division League champions defeated Chitlang 3-1 in the second match of the day at ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Armed Police Force FC also registered their fourth straight win in the tournament in the first match on Wednesday.

APF defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club 2-1. With the respective wins, Machhindra and APF climbed over Laligurans Association Club, who missed out on their fourth win on Tuesday after a goalless draw with Tribhuvan Army FC.

Machhindra and APF now have 12 points each. Interestingly, both also have the same goal difference: 6.
