Kathmandu, Dec. 16 -- Voting to elect the new leadership of the CPN-UML has been postponed to Wednesday morning following technical problems with electronic voting machines at the party's 11th general convention.

The polling process, which was scheduled to begin at 7 pm on Tuesday, was halted after issues were detected in the electronic system, particularly during the entry of candidates' names. Party officials later announced that voting would start after 8 am on Wednesday, provided the problems are resolved.
