Kathmandu, Oct. 29 -- Police have arrested two young men for firing a pistol stolen during the Gen Z uprising on September 9 and recording a video of the act.
The Valley Crime Investigation Office apprehended Samir Shrestha, 23, of Nuwakot, currently residing in Naya Bazaar, and Alex Nepali, 23, of Kavre, living in Chhetrapati, in connection with the act.
Superintendent of Police Kaji Kumar Acharya said that both men were found to have fired the weapon. "Samir had fired the pistol from the rooftop of a house in Nagarjun Municipality," Acharya said, adding that both have confessed to the act during interrogation. "We have also recovered the video he filmed while doing so."
