Kathmandu, Sept. 19 -- Two Nepalis detained at the Ukrainian border have been rescued and are returning to Nepal on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
According to the ministry, Jaya Prakash Sah of Rautahat and Sandesh KC of Baglung were rescued through the coordination and efforts of the Nepali Embassy in Berlin. The Berlin-based Nepali embassy concurrently oversees Ukraine as well.
The ministry expressed gratitude to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Germany, and other supporting agencies and individuals for their assistance in the safe repatriation.
