Bhairahawa, Dec. 15 -- Two people were killed when a motorcycle crashed into a stationary truck in Rupandehi on Monday morning.
The accident occurred at Parasi Jhuwa in ward 3 of Rohini Rural Municipality along the Bhairahawa-Parasi road section, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Suraj Karki, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Rupandehi.
The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Raju Harijan of ward 3 of Omsatiya Rural Municipality and 23-year-old Rohit Yadav of the same locality. The motorcycle was heading towards Bhairahawa from Parasi when it rammed into a parked Indian truck at around 6am.
