Nepal, June 16 -- Two people died and another was seriously injured when a Bolero jeep veered off a rural road and plunged nearly 300 metres in Purba Khola-5, Birkot of Palpa district on Saturday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla, informed that the deceased have been identified as 46-year-old Binod Dhungana of Chirtungdanda, Bagnaskali-1, currently residing in Majhuwabesi, Butwal-11, and another unidentified man, estimated to be around 45 years old.
The vehicle was en route from Aryabhanjyang to Rampur when the accident occurred. Dhungana died while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College, Prabhas, and the other victim passed away at Mission Hospital in Tansen.
