Parasi, March 20 -- Police in Nawalparasi West have arrested two youths with undisclosed Rs1.2 million, suspecting its connection to hundi transactions.
Acting on a tip-off about illegal cross-border money transfers, police apprehended the suspects at the bypass area of ward 5 in Ramgram Municipality. According to Police Inspector Narayan Thapa of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi West the duo was riding two Indian-registered motorcycles when officers discovered the cash.
The arrested individuals are 22-year-old Sukh Sagar Yadav of Bhaksipur in Palhinandan Rural Municipality and 39-year-old Shivendra Prasad Baniya of Piparpati in Pratappur Rural Municipality.
