Kathmandu, April 17 -- Turkey has implemented a new requirement for Nepali passport holders travelling to Mexico, Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela via Tukey.

As per the rule, they must obtain an electronic airport transit visa if they are transiting via the Istanbul Airport.

The Embassy of Turkey in New Delhi has announced that the same rule will apply to Indian passport holders as well.

Nepali and Indian passport holders, who are subject to this requirement, can obtain their visa free of charge from the website www.evisa.gov.tr.
