Kathmandu, Oct. 10 -- The Tribhuvan University, the largest university of Nepal, will conduct re-examinations for students whose answer sheets were destroyed during the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9.
According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, exams held at centres in Anarmani in Jhapa, Chandranigahapur in Rautahat, and Narayanpur in Dang have been cancelled after answer sheets kept at local police stations were burnt when the buildings were set on fire during the protests.
The office said a new schedule for the re-examinations will be published later. The destroyed papers were from the Bachelor's second-year partial and supplementary exams, affecting around 650 students.
