Chitwan, Sept. 29 -- Traffic has resumed along the Narayanghat-Muglin road section after a landslide at Tuin Khola was cleared, officials said.

According to the Bharatpur Division Road Office, vehicles started operating from around 6 pm on Monday after workers removed debris that had blocked the road earlier in the day.

The landslide, which occurred around noon, had buried nearly 70 metres of the road, halting movement in both directions.

Authorities said this is not the first disruption caused by landslides in the area. Just last week, a similar incident had blocked the road, with clearance taking up to 48 hours.
