Lamjung, June 18 -- The Besisahar-Chame road, which had been blocked by a landslide since Tuesday night, has reopened.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Resham Bohara, chief of the District Police Office in Lamjung, stated that traffic near Chyamche resumed on Wednesday afternoon after the route was cleared.

"After receiving notice of the road blockage, a team of police deployed from our office, together with personnel from the road office and local residents, cleared the landslide and made way for traffic," Bohara said.

Baburam Tamang, a local hotelier, confirmed that vehicles stranded by the landslide had since departed for their destinations.
