Nawalpur, April 12 -- The vehicular movement along the East-West Highway has been halted in East Nawalparasi after flood damaged the diversion built at Dumkibas on Saturday.
The vehicular movement along the Narayanghat-Butwal road of the highway has been halted within 24 hours after it resumed following repair of the road at Daunne.
The Daunne section of the highway, which had been blocked for 21 hours, reopened to one-way traffic on Friday afternoon. Travellers stranded since Thursday resumed their journeys after the partial reopening at around 2:15pm on Friday.
