Kathmandu, Oct. 4 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that moderate to heavy rain is likely in many parts of the country on Saturday, with chances of very heavy rainfall in some areas.

According to the Division, hilly and Tarai regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces are expected to receive moderate rain with thunder and lightning this afternoon. Heavy rain is likely in a few places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places of the Tarai region of Lumbini Province. Very heavy rain is also possible in some areas of Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
