Kathmandu, Oct. 30 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that several parts of the country are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall and snowfall in the next 24 hours due to the combined effects of Cyclone Montha, which has developed over the Bay of Bengal, and a low-pressure system over the Arabian Sea.
According to the division, most areas in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces will remain mostly cloudy this afternoon, with the Tarai region seeing partly cloudy conditions. Moderate rain is expected in many areas of Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces, while some hilly and mountainous parts of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces could see similar conditions.
