Kathmandu, Oct. 2 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that generally cloudy conditions will prevail across all provinces on Thursday, with chances of rainfall in several areas.

According to the division, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in the hilly and Tarai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as in some areas of Madhesh Province. A few places in the hilly and Tarai regions of the remaining provinces may also experience rainfall. One or two places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are likely to witness heavy rainfall in the afternoon.
