Kathmandu, May 20 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division said light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in several parts of the country on Tuesday, particularly in the hilly and Tarai regions.

In Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, light snowfall is possible at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions. The Division said brief thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also expected in the hilly and Tarai belts during the day and night.
