Kathmandu, March 20 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted light snowfall in some areas on Thursday, particularly in the high-altitude regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the division, Koshi's mountainous areas will see partial cloud cover with a chance of light snowfall in one or two places, while the hilly regions may experience light rain with thunderstorms. The Tarai region is expected to remain mostly clear.

Gandaki and Karnali's high-altitude areas could also see light snowfall, while their hilly regions may witness light rainfall with thunder and lightning.
