Kathmandu, March 18 -- The influence of both westerly and local winds is affecting Nepal's weather, with partial cloud cover over Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, while other regions remain mostly clear, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

During the day, most parts of the country will see partly cloudy to mainly clear skies. Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in a few hilly areas of Gandaki Province, while some high-altitude and Himalayan regions may experience light snowfall. Strong winds are also likely in some areas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
