Kathmandu, March 16 -- The country is currently experiencing partial influence from a westerly low-pressure system along with the effect of local winds.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, partial to generally cloudy weather is observed in Sudurpashchim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the hilly regions, including Lumbini, have partial cloud cover. A few places in Karnali and Sudurpashchim are experiencing light rain with thunder and lightning.
