Kathmandu, June 27 -- Most parts of the country are expected to see light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning on Friday, with heavy rainfall forecast for some hilly and mountainous regions, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

During the day, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain is likely in some hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places elsewhere.

There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
