Kathmandu, June 19 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning across various parts of the country over the next 24 hours, with the possibility of very heavy rain in some areas.

According to the division's bulletin issued at 6am on Thursday, generally to mostly cloudy conditions will prevail throughout the country during the day. Some areas in all provinces are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. One or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces could experience heavy to very heavy downpours.
