Kathmandu, July 24 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that heavy rainfall is likely in some areas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces on Thursday night. According to the division, the hills and Tarai of Koshi and parts of Madhesh Province could witness heavy showers, while other regions may experience light to moderate rainfall.

The division said that the monsoon trough remains south of its average position, resulting in weakened monsoon activity across the country.

For Thursday daytime, generally cloudy weather is expected in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with partly cloudy skies in other areas. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmat...
