Kathmandu, July 23 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Wednesday morning that monsoon winds continue to affect weather conditions across the country.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few other places elsewhere.

There is also a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country with a likelihood of light to moderate rain along with thunder and lightning at a few places in all provinces.
