Kathmandu, July 22 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that the monsoon system continues to affect the country, with the monsoon trough positioned near its average location.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places elsewhere. One or two locations in these three provinces may experience heavy rain.
