Kathmandu, Jan. 28 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast generally cloudy weather across the country on Wednesday, with rain and snowfall expected in several areas.

During the day, the high hills and Himalayan regions will remain fully overcast, while the hills and Tarai will see partly to generally cloudy conditions. Moderate rain and snowfall are likely at some places in the high hills and Himalayan regions. Parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim are likely to receive moderate rainfall, while isolated areas of the hilly regions of Bagmati, Madhesh and Koshi, and one or two places in the Tarai of Koshi, may see light rain.
