Kathmandu, Jan. 2 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division said hilly and mountainous areas will be partly to generally cloudy this afternoon, while most other areas will see partly cloudy skies.

Isolated light snowfall is possible in the high hilly and mountainous regions across all provinces, with light rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Some pockets of the Tarai are likely to experience fog or mist, affecting visibility.
