Kathmandu, Feb. 6 -- Fog is likely in some parts of the Tarai during the day on Friday, while the weather across most hill and Himalayan regions will remain mainly clear, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

In the afternoon, partial cloud cover is expected in the hill and Himalayan regions of Koshi province and the Himalayan belt of Gandaki province. The rest of the country is likely to see mainly fair weather, the Division said.

At night, fog may form at a few places in the Tarai. Partial cloud cover is forecast for the high hill and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while other areas will remain mostly clear.
