Kathmandu, Feb. 5 -- Fog is likely to persist across many parts of the Tarai on Thursday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

In its weather outlook for Thursday, February 5, the division said fog or mist will prevail in several Tarai areas during the daytime, while the weather in the hilly and mountainous regions will remain mostly clear.

At night, fog is expected in a few Tarai locations. The hilly and Himalayan regions are forecast to continue seeing generally clear weather, the division said.
