Kathmandu, Feb. 24 -- The country is experiencing the influence of westerly and local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Partial to moderate cloud cover is observed in hilly areas, including Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the weather remains mostly clear elsewhere. Some areas in the Tarai are covered in fog.

Light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as a few places in other hilly regions.
