Kathmandu, Feb. 23 -- The influence of a westerly disturbance is affecting Nepal's weather, with partial cloud cover in hilly regions, while most other areas will remain clear, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Some places in the Tarai may experience fog, while isolated areas in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces could see light rainfall with thunder and lightning. Light snowfall is expected in a few locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions.
Tonight, partial to moderate cloud cover is likely in hilly areas, while other regions will remain partly cloudy to clear. The high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may receive light snowfall.
