Kathmandu, Feb. 19 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather on Thursday is expected to remain generally cloudy in the mountainous regions and partly cloudy elsewhere during the day.

Light rain and snowfall are likely at a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. One or two places in the remaining hilly and mountainous regions may also receive light precipitation.

Fog is likely in a few Tarai districts in the morning.
