Kathmandu, Feb. 14 -- Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Saturday.

The Division said the weather is partly cloudy across the country.

On Saturday afternoon, fog and mist are likely to persist until midday in some Tarai areas. Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces' high hill and Himalayan regions are expected to see generally cloudy conditions, while the remaining hill and mountain areas will witness partial cloud cover.

The Tarai is expected to remain mainly fair.

There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hill and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
