Kathmandu, Aug. 20 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Wednesday that heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces tonight.

This afternoon, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces along with other hilly regions are expected to see mostly cloudy conditions, with chances of moderate rain at a few places. One or two places in the Tarai may also receive rainfall.

Tonight, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will experience generally cloudy skies, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions. Moderate rainfall is possible in the Tarai and hill areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
