Kathmandu, April 8 -- The weather is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy in several parts of the country on Tuesday, with chances of light rainfall and snowfall in some areas, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

In Koshi Province, light snowfall is likely at a few places in the Himalayan region. The hilly and Tarai regions may experience thunder, lightning, and light rain at a few locations during the day. Skies are expected to be partly cloudy in most areas at night.

In Madhesh Province, the Tarai region may see isolated light rain with thunder and lightning during the day, while the weather is expected to improve at night with mainly clear skies.
